AFRICA ATONA · LEGAL

Terms and Conditions

Effective and last updated: October 19, 2026

These terms describe use of the Africa Atona website and Android community-navigation beta.

1. Using the service

Africa Atona provides road maps, destination searches and routing when providers are configured, foreground navigation, community reports and account features. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact us at the address below if you have questions.

2. Eligibility and accounts

Use the service only where lawful and with the legal capacity or appropriate permission to agree to these terms. Keep your account information accurate and your password confidential. Do not impersonate another person, share another person’s credentials or access an account without permission. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Safe navigation

Obey applicable traffic laws, signs, closures and actual road conditions. Set destinations, change settings and submit reports only when safely parked or through a passenger. Maps, instructions, route estimates and reports may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. Do not rely on them as a substitute for your judgment. Africa Atona is not an emergency-response or dispatch service.

4. Beta features and third-party services

This is a beta service. Availability, coverage and accuracy depend on network access, device permissions and configured providers. Verified live traffic, traffic-aware ETA and other features listed as unavailable in the application are not supplied by this build. Android guidance requires the app to remain visible; background guidance is not supported. The app’s feature inventory identifies additional limitations.

Map, routing, search, font and software providers have their own terms, licenses and privacy policies. Third-party data and software remain subject to those terms.

5. Community submissions

You retain any rights you hold in your reports, place descriptions and support submissions. You grant Africa Atona the nonexclusive permission needed to store, process, display, moderate and distribute those submissions to provide the service. Public reports and their location are visible to other users. Submit only material you have permission to share; avoid private information about other people.

Do not submit knowingly false, abusive, unlawful, discriminatory, infringing or dangerous content. Do not manipulate report confirmations, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, upload malicious material or overload our systems.

6. Privacy and account controls

Our Privacy Policy explains how account information, location requests, saved places, optional history and reports are handled. Device location requires permission. Account deletion is available through Account; history and account settings have separate controls under Menu → Privacy & map.

7. Intellectual property

Use Africa Atona for its intended navigation and community purposes. Rights in our protected branding, interface and content, and rights held by third parties, remain with their owners. Your use does not transfer ownership. Applicable open-source licenses and legal exceptions are preserved. See the Copyright notice for attribution and rights inquiries.

8. Availability, moderation and termination

We may correct, update or suspend features for maintenance, security, legal requirements or misuse. Administrators may remove reports, disable accounts or revoke sessions when needed to protect the service and its users. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Contact support if you believe a restriction was applied in error.

9. Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise of uninterrupted service, accurate routing or fitness for a particular journey. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate third-party information, unavailable service or use contrary to these terms. Nothing here excludes liability, remedies or consumer protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

10. Changes, disputes and contact

We will date updated terms on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the service where appropriate; any consent required by law will be requested before the relevant change takes effect. Applicable mandatory law and your nonwaivable rights continue to apply. Contact dobcalldemo@gmail.com to raise a concern or discuss a dispute.
